Hi, I’m Patrick Guyer, and I’m running to represent Hallowell on our RSU 2 School Board of Directors because:
- I believe strongly that our kids come first, and that all our students deserve an excellent education and overall experience in our schools
- As a Hallowell resident and proud parent of two Hall-Dale Bulldogs, I’m passionate about our wonderful community and am excited to throw myself into the hard work of keeping our public schools strong
- I have the skills and experience to be an effective, constructive voice on our School Board and a reliable representative for our community
About me:
- Born and raised in Maine and a graduate of a Maine public high school
- Proud parent of two kids attending school in our district
- Non-profit management professional, with 18+ years of work experience in policy, evaluation and research positions in the US and overseas
- Former educator with teaching experience at Brooklyn College, City University of New York
